The Allianz Climate Risk Award is part of Allianz’s activities to reduce risks related to climate change, to increase resilience, and to promote scientific research.
PhD students who are in the final stage of their research and postdoctoral researchers who have recently obtained their degree, are invited to apply. We welcome individual applications from the fields of natural sciences as well as economics and social sciences. Four finalists will receive a monetary award and will be invited to an Award ceremony at Allianz Headquarters in Munich, Germany, in early December 2022 to present their findings and take part in an interactive discussion with renowned experts from both industry and academia. The ten best essays submitted as part of the application will also be published in a
compendium (find the Compendium of the 2021 Award here).
